Command Senior Chief
Command Senior Chief Lampley is a native of Parmaribo, Suriname and a 1999 graduate from George W. Wingate High School in Brooklyn, New York. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in July 1999 and completed Recruit Training Command and Seaman Apprenticship Training in Great Lakes Illinois. Senior Chief Lampley is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 172 Gray Group. He holds an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley, California.
His sea duty assignments include: USS SACRAMENTO (AOE-1) in Bremerton WA from December 1999 to June 2003, where he served as a Deck Seaman and Supply Storekeeper and completed three Western Pacific deployments to the Persian Gulf; USS NICHOLAS (FFG-47) in Norfolk VA from August 2003 to September 2005, where he served as a Storekeeper Second Class and completed two Mediterranean Deployments; USS PATRIOT (MCM-7), from December 2009 to December 2012, SEVENTH FLEET Area Patrols and served as Logistic Specialist Chief and Supply Department Leading Chief Petty Officer; USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) in Yokosuka Japan from July 2016 to March 2018 where he served in several leadership roles to include Acting CMC, Readiness Divisions LCPO, Material Division LCPO, Aviation Support Division LCPO and Command Gospel Service Lay Leader; USS JOHN S. MCCAIN (DDG-56) in Yokosuka Japan from March 2018 to July 2018 where he served as Command Senior Chief.
His shore duty assignments include: Commander, Fleet Activities Okinawa from February 2005 to November 2009; where he served as Logistic Special First Class and Air Operations Department Leading Petty Officer; and NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center Sigonella Site Naples, from April 2013 to May 2016, where he served as a Logistic Specialist Senior Chief and the Senior Enlisted Leader.
Senior Chief Lampley was selected to the Command Senior Chief Program in February 2018. In August 2018, he attended Senior Enlisted Academy Class. In August 2018, he reported to his current assignment on board USS Chief (MCM 14) Sasebo, Japan as the Command Senior Chief.
His personal decorations include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (three awards) and various unit and service ribbons and citations.
