Sponsorship

Having a sponsor before you arrive in Japan is vital. The USS BLUE RIDGE Sponsorship program is designed to ensure our new Sailors are provided all the information and assistance they need from beginning to end. It starts from when you receive your orders, while you wait to transfer to Japan up to when you complete your check-in process. Your sponsor will ensure you are adapting to your new location. You will be assigned a sponsor, we ask that you communicate often with them to ensure they can inform the command about your transition.

If you are less than six months away from departure and have not heard from our command, get in touch with the command by emailing the USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC 19) Command Career Counselor at CCC@lcc19.navy.mil

To expedite assignment please have the following available when you send a request to the USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC 19) Command Sponsor Team at sponsor@lcc19.navy.mil

You can copy and paste the below and send to the email provided above.
