Commander Edward Angelinas is from Riverview, Michigan. A 1995 graduate of Fordham University, he served as a Nuclear Electrician’s Mate in USS NEWPORT NEWS (SSN 750) until receiving his commission from Officer Candidate School in December 1998.

At sea assignments include Electrical Officer and Fire Control Officer in USS OSCAR AUSTIN (DDG 79), and Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer in USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55). From December 2014 through April 2016, he served as Executive Officer in USS McCAMPBELL (DDG 85).

Shore duty assignments include Officer Instructor at the AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC), during which he graduated from The George Washington University with a Master’s in Business Administration, Placement Officer and Assistant to Surface Warfare Officer Assignments (PERS 41B) in Navy Personnel Command, and Congressional Liaison for Navy Appropriations in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management and Comptroller.

CDR Angelinas assumed command of USS McCAMPBELL on 3 May 2016.
