CMDCM(SW/AW) Elias Robles III
Command Master Chief

Command Master Chief Robles, a native of Dallas, Texas, enlisted in the United States Navy in November 1996.  Following basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Engineering Common Core School.
 
Robles’ previous sea duty assignments include duty on USS Wasp (LHD 1), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), USS Princeton (CG 59), Special Boat Team 12, and USS Boxer (LHD 4).  During these tours, he completed multiple deployments to the Mediterranean Sea, the Arabian Gulf, and Western Pacific areas of operation in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and the Global War on Terrorism.
Ashore, he has served at Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity Mayport and Afloat Training Group San Diego. His previous Command Master Chief tours include Littoral Combat Ship Crew 219 Pre-Commission Detachment and Littoral Combat Ship Crew 214 - USS Cincinnati (LCS 20).  Master Chief Robles is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 206), Command Master Chief Capstone course (Class 182), and Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in December 2016.
His current assignment is Command Master Chief of USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62).

 
His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (two awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (six awards) and various service and campaign awards.
