Executive Officer (July 2011 - April 2013)

Commander Luke Frost was commissioned in 1996 through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a degree in Finance and Business Economics.
At sea, he was first assigned to USS INGERSOLL (DD 990) as Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer and Combat Systems Officer, and deployed to the Central Command area of responsibility. His next assignment was to USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) where he served as Auxiliaries Officer and Repair Officer and deployed to the Mediterranean Sea, the Adriatic Sea, and the Arabian Gulf. As a department head, he was assigned to USS CHAFEE (DDG 90) as Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer, deploying twice to the Central Command area of responsibility.
Ashore, Commander Frost has been assigned to the personal staff of a United States House of Representatives member as a Department of Defense Legislative Fellow and he has served on the Chief of Naval Operations staff (OPNAV N095) in Washington, D.C.
Commander Frost has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.
