CDR Landreth
Executive Officer (June 2012 - August 2014)

Commander Landreth is a native of Colorado and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming.  He attended the University of Northern Colorado, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  In 1997, he was selected and graduated from Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida.

His first sea tour was Main Propulsion Officer on USS CHOSIN (CG 65), completing one Arabian Gulf deployment.  His follow on tour was a Gas Turbine Engineering Assessor on the Staff of Afloat Training Group Pacific in San Diego, California.

Commander Landreth then attended the Naval Post Graduate School and graduated with a Master of Science in Operations Research in 2004.  Following department head school, he served on USS CURTS (FFG 38) as the Chief Engineering Officer.  He then reported to Commander, Destroyer Squadron FIVE ZERO in Manama, Bahrain as the Material Officer.

In 2007, Commander Landreth transferred to United States Strategic Command Joint Functional Component Commander (JFCC) Global Strike (GS) in Omaha, Nebraska and completed a joint tour as a C4 Systems Support Officer.  His next assignment was to the Chief of Naval Operations Staff in the Pentagon where he served in the Assessment Division (N81) as part of the Sea Shaping branch.

His decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy Achievement Medal, and various campaign and service awards.
