ENCM Damon Marsh
Command Master Chief

Originally from Long Island, New York Master Chief Damon Marsh joined the United States Navy as an undesignated Fireman in 1998.

Afloat, Master Chief Marsh completed tours aboard USS DEVASTOR (MCM 6) from 1998 to 2002 as Maintenance Person and left as Auxiliaries Division Work Center Supervisor and Leading Petty Officer in 2003. USS TORTUGA (LSD 46) from 2006 to 2008 in Sasebo Japan, as Auxiliaries Division Leading Petty Officer. From 2008 to 2011 Master Chief joined Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Crew SWERVE as Auxiliaries Division and Engineering Department Leading Petty Officer. After promoting to Chief Petty Officer he went on to be the Main Propulsion Assistant/Top Snipe for MCM Crew DOMINANT. In 2014 ENCM Marsh went to Bahrain to be the Main Propulsion Assistant /Senior Enlisted Advisor for USS CHINOOK (PC 9), before reporting to Commander Destroyer Squadron ONE in 2015. During his sea tours he deployed eight times to multiple operational areas and was forward deployed to both THIRD and FIFTH Fleet's.

Ashore, Master Chief Marsh served at COMWARCOM Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX from 2003 to 2006, as part of the Material Assessment Team. In 2011, he went on to be an instructor at the Center for Navel Engineering San Diego, to teach Diesel maintenance for four of the navies diesel engines.

Master Chief Marsh's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with Gold Stars), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with Gold Stars) as well as multiple unit and service awards.
