Congratulations on your orders to the largest forward deployed Destroyer Squadron. Hopefully, by now you have been contacted by your assigned sponsor who will be assisting you and your family with your transition to Japan.

If for some reason this is not the case please drop me an email so that we can remedy that situation as soon as possible.

About the SPONSOR Program.
The policy is that every person in receipt of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders to this command will be assigned a sponsor to assist in their transition to living and working in Japan. The sponsors will be actively involved with the program, providing guidance and/or information to assure a smooth transition into this command and the country of Japan.
It is important that you keep your sponsor updated on your exact arrival flight information so that the command can provide transportation.
