Master Chief Coke is a native of Klamath Falls, OR. In August 1996, he enlisted in the Navy through the Delayed Entry Program and reported to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL for basic training with a follow-on assignment to Fire Controlman ‘A’ School.

His operational sea tours include USS PAUL F. FOSTER (DD 964), USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71), and USS MOBILE BAY (CG 53). During these assignments, he deployed to the Arabian Gulf, North and South Atlantic, Mediterranean Sea, Indian and Pacific Oceans in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM and NEW DAWN.

In March 2003, Master Chief Coke report to his only shore assignment at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL as a Recruit Division Commander where trained 10 Recruit Divisions and was promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 2006.

In January 2012, he reported to Commander, Carrier Strike Group ELEVEN embarked USS NIMITZ (CVN 68) where he currently serves as Senior Enlisted Leader.

His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards), Good Conduct Medal (6 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
