CMDCM(SW/AW/IW) Tyrone Jiles
Command Master Chief

CMDCM Tyrone Jiles enlisted in the Navy in June of 1995 from Louisiana.  He attended Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois and completed Signalman "A" school in Orlando, Florida.  He converted to the Navy Counselor rating in May 2004.   

His sea duty assignments include:  USS DOYLE (FFG 39), Mayport, Florida; USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68), Mayport, Florida; USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73), Yokosuka, Japan; USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN 77), Norfolk, Virginia.  
His shore duty assignments include: Training Support Center Hampton Roads, Dam Neck, Virginia; Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Commander, United States Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Throughout his career, he has completed multiple deployments in the FIFTH, SIXTH, and SEVENTH Fleet area of responsibilities and participated in Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, and Operations TOMODACHI. 
He is a graduate from the U.S. Senior Enlisted Academy Class 162 (Deans List) and the CMC/COB course, Class 199.  He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Management and Technology.  
CMDCM Jiles warfare qualification include Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist.  Personal Awards include: Meritorious Service Medal  (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three Awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven Awards), and Good Conduct Medal (five awards) and numerous other unit and campaign awards.
