CMDCM(SW/AW/IW) Weba W. Roberts
Command Master Chief
Command Master Chief Weba Roberts was born in Jamaica and grew up in Massachusetts. She attended basic training in Great Lakes, IL in 1996 and upon completion attended Aviation Support Equipment Technician “A” School in Pensacola, FL and cryogenics “C” school in San Diego.
Her assignments at sea include: command master chief of USS Charleston (LCS-18), aviation support equipment technician aboard USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), ground support equipment leading chief petty officer (LCPO) aboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), and aircraft intermediate maintenance department (AIMD) LCPO aboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). During these operational tours Master Chief Roberts completed deployments to the Mediterranean Sea, Western Pacific, Arabian Gulf and South America. She is currently serving as command master chief for USS Porter (DDG 78) in Rota, Spain.
Her shore assignments include: NAS Barber’s Point, Hawaii; COMFAIRWESTPAC Detachment Atsugi, Japan; and two tours at Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron TWO FOUR Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Master Chief Roberts is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, CMC/COB course and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
Her awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
