SCPO(SW) Marshall M. Lloyd
Senior Enlisted Leader
SCPO Marshall M. Lloyd is a native of Dillon, South Carolina where he graduated from Dillon High School in 1995. Senior Chief Lloyd enlisted in the Navy on October 22, 1995 and completed basic training at RTC Great Lakes, Illinois. In 1996 he attended Operations Specialist “A” school in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
SCPO Lloyd’s sea duty assignments include USS Vella Gulf (CG 72) / (1996-2001) homeported in Norfolk, Virginia, USS Ponce (LPD-15) / (2004-2008) homeported in Norfolk, Virginia, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 50 (2008-2009) in Bahrain, USS Ashland (LSD-48) / (2009-2012) homeported in Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Virginia, USS Bataan (LHD 5) / (2015-2016 will return 2017) homeported in Norfolk, Virginia and USS Ponce (AFSB(I)-15) / (2016-2017) forward deployed to Bahrain. His shore assignments were at Navy Recruiting District Atlanta (2001-2004) in Atlanta, Georgia and Navy Personnel Command (NPC) / (2012-2015) in Millington, Tennessee.
Senior Chief Lloyd was promoted to CPO in September 2009 and SCPO in June 2013. He is a graduate of Coastline Community College where he completed his AA in Supervision and Management and Saint Leo University where he received a BA with a concentration in Human Resources Management.
Senior Chief Lloyd’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6) and various unit and campaign awards.
