Leaders from across the
Department of Defense visit SSC Pacific

The Department of Defense's Executive Leadership Development program (ELDP) Class of 2018 visited SSC Pacific Feb. 12, 2018.
The ELDP is a 10-month program that offers more than 60 individuals, all top mid-career active duty and civilian leaders from across the Department of Defense, the opportunity to study leadership and the warfighter mission.

SSC Pacific Commanding Officer Capt. Mel Yokoyama met with the group to discuss the Center's mission and his leadership philosophy. The group also toured SSC Pacific facilities such as the Battlespace Exploitation of Mixed Reality (BEMR) Lab and the nanosatellite facility as well the Center's machine shop and 3D printing lab.
The briefing's goal is to offer the ELDP group insight into the important contributions SSC Pacific provides to the Navy and the warfighter, and its role in Department of Defense technology advancements.
