NCF Prospective Operations & Training Staff Course

Course Description:
The Prospective Operations and Training Staff Course (POTSC) is designed to prepare prospective senior staff to assume leadership positions within operations and training organizations and to be responsible for readiness, training, operational employment, program management, and influencing internal and external relationships at force operational levels. The classroom and lab instruction emphasize doctrine, the Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP), Naval Construction Force (NCF) readiness and resources, individual qualifications, management concepts and methodologies, mission planning tools, tactical employment, and guest speaker perspectives involving incumbent command leadership and current NCF operations.
Personnel Eligible:
This course is designed for Active Duty and Reserve CEC officers and OF-13 Senior Enlisted selected for duty as Operations Officer, Operations Chief, Training Officer, and Training Chief for duty within an Naval Construction Force unit.
