Course Description:
The PWD Intermediate course will provide midcareer civilians and midgrade CEC officers the training required to perform as a director for the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD), and Production Division in a NAVFAC Public Works Department. Additionally, this course discusses the funds used in a Public Works Department, Emergency Management coordination, and personnel management.
Note: Due to high demand for PWD Intermediate, offerings are substantially overbooked. Priority placement will go to those en route to a billet requiring PWD Intermediate. Additionally, for the January offering, those attending the CEC LCDR(s) Leadership Course will also receive priority placement. We anticipate confirming priority placements for the January offering NO EARLIER THAN December 2019. Prospective students who do not fall into the aforementioned categories are highly encouraged to sign up for the April or July offerings.
