Chief Warrant Officer 4 Aris J. McKenzie, a native of Mobile, Alabama, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in October 1990, completing Aviation Electrician’s Mate “A” School. She was selected for advancement to chief petty officer in 2010 and was commissioned that same year through the Limited Duty Officer/Chief Warrant Officer program. McKenzie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
McKenzie’s operational assignments include tours with Fighter Squadron (VF) 43; Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 94; VFA-37; VFA-106; and VFA-15.
Her shore tours include Naval Air Maintenance Training Group Detachment.
McKenzie reported for duty as the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Det. Atsugi officer in charge in October 2017.
McKenzie’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards).
