CDR PAUL F. FARRELL
Chief Staff Officer
CDR Farrell graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2002 and was commissioned a Surface Warfare Officer. He was redesignated as an Information Professional in 2005. He is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School with a master’s degree in Computer Science, and the National Defense University with a master’s degree in Government Information Leadership. He is a 2008 winner of the DEFCON Capture the Flag championships.
He has served at sea onboard USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) as the Automated Data Processing Officer and Auxiliaries Officer, deploying in 2004, USS Enterprise (CVN 65) as the EKMS Manager deploying in 2006, and embarked onboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) as the Flag Communications Officer for Carrier Strike Group TEN, deploying in 2013. Most recently, he served onboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) as the Assistant Chief of Staff for C4I for Carrier Strike Group TEN.
His shore assignments include CJ-6 Current Operations Officer at the Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan/NATO Training Mission – Afghanistan, Navy Personnel Command in PERS-54 as the BUPERS On Line Program Manager, and Naval Information Operations Command, Fort Meade, Maryland as a Department and Directorate Head.
He has served as the Chief Staff Officer for Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic since June, 2019.
