CAPT Freezor
CDR Nate Feezor is a career intelligence officer that has served in a wide range of Fleet assignments.  After completing an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management from Arkansas State University, he was commissioned in 2002 through Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida.  His previous tours of duty include serving as a watch officer for an IUSS/SOSUS command conducting theater anti-submarine warfare against high-end adversaries, as the SUPPLOT officer and OZ DIVO during multiple deployments aboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON, as a counter-terrorism analyst at COMUSNAVCENT/5th Fleet, as the Chief of the Northeast Asia and CWMD Intelligence Plans Branch at USPACOM, as the CAG AI for Carrier Airwing EIGHT during its 2014 combat deployment aboard USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH, and as the Director of Intelligence Operations and Analysis for the Fleet Forces Command Maritime Intelligence Operations Center (MIOC).
 
In 2010, he completed a graduate degree in National Security Affairs at Naval Postgraduate School with a specialty in East Asia studies.  CDR Feezor has been a Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) since 2015 having completed JPME I & II and a 36-month JD-1 joint tour.  In addition to extensive leadership and OPINTEL experience both afloat and ashore, he is an IUSS-qualified officer, a TASW officer, a DIA-certified intelligence planner with experience in both contingency and crisis action planning at the COCOM level, a graduate of the ISR afloat manager school, a qualified Joint Targeteer with combat experience in both deliberate and time-sensitive strikes, and a Navy Space Cadre member (VS6) having completed the USAF Space Warfighter Preparation Course.
 
After serving as the Director of both Fleet Intelligence training as well as Space Operations training, he was assigned by IWTG HQ as the Executive Officer for IWTG Norfolk where he is directly responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting over 300 Sailors, 22 government civilians, and numerous contractors in the accomplishment of the command’s mission.  IWTG Norfolk augments Strike Group staffs for work-ups and deployments, maintains the authoritative threat emitter library for all afloat EW systems, and sends waterfront trainers to train and certify ships based in Norfolk, Mayport, Spain, and Bahrain in basic electronic warfare, cryptologic warfare, cyber warfare, operations security and intelligence skills.
 
CDR Feezor’s personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards).
