Command Senior Enlisted Leader
CTRCM (IW/EXW/SW/AW) Denise N. Vola
Senior Chief Denise Vola is a native of California and Hawaii. She graduated Recruit Basic Training in Great Lakes, IL in 2003 and from Cryptologic Technician Collection “A” school in September 2003.
While at Naval Security Group Activity Kunia, she performed cryptologic collection and reporting and served as a Department Training Manager. She attended CTR “C” School in October 2006 and earned the 9147 NEC.
In March 2007, while at Naval Special Warfare Support Activity One as a Tactical Information Operations Analyst, she deployed with SEAL Team FIVE, served as a Leading Petty Officer and earned the 5306 NEC.
In July 2010, she reported to Headquarters United States Special Operations Command as an analyst. In August 2011, she was selected for Chief Petty Officer and served as a cryptologic liaison and assisted with the establishment of USSOCOM Cyber Support Element.
In July 2013, she reported to Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Hawaii Surface Direct Support. She deployed onboard USS MILIUS (DDG 69) and as Assistant Cryptologic Resource Coordinator for CCSG-5/CTF 70. She also served as Department LCPO, was selected for Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2016 and earned the 9117 NEC.
In January 2017, she reported to NIOC Maryland and served as the N5 Holding Department LCPO, Senior Enlisted Leader for two organizations within the National Security Agency, the Department LCPO for Cryptanalysis Signals Analysis Department and the Directorate Senior Enlisted Leader for Collection Exploitation Directorate.
In August 2018, she assumed the duties as Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Cryptologic Warfare Activity SIXTY SIX.
Her personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal (two), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.
