Navy Suicide Prevention and Operational Stress Control Videos

Every Sailor, Every Day "Sailors on the Street" Videos
Short videos that can be used as ice-breakers for trainings, safety briefs and small group discussions relating to stress navigating. These short videos feature real Sailors sharing the ways they navigate various sources of stress and each ends with 1 Small ACT that viewers can practice to help navigate stress. Available in 29-second and 59-second episodes. Each can be downloaded from DVIDS or accessed through the NavStress YouTube channel​.

Every Sailor, Every Day Training Video
Produced by Navy Medicine in collaboration with Navy Suicide Prevention Branch, this video uses a realistic scenario to illustrate active leadership and peer engagement. It can be used as part of training or educational events to encourage ongoing and proactive engagement between shipmates, strengthening connections that can facilitate early recognition and intervention. It is intended to generate dialogue and discussion to guide suicide prevention efforts and to help build confidence in one’s ability to provide support.
