Expanded Operational Stress Control (E-OSC):  A New Beginning
NAVADMIN 222/19 announced an OSC program policy update effective 1 October 2019.  The new expanded version of the E-OSC Program, part of the 21st Century Sailor Office's (OPNAV N17) Behavior Development & Performance Branch (OPNAV N171), will leverage command representatives and deckplate leaders to provide more accessible, collaborative resources and real-time assessments of unit culture to promote healthy command climates and mitigate risks.  This expanded focus will target and address the broad range of stressors (relationship problems, career transitions, disciplinary/legal issues, performance issues, and financial strain) that Sailors experience.  More information and resources can be found via the links available on the blue toolbar (left).
Help is always available. Call the Military Crisis Line at 1-800-273-TALK (option 1), text 838255 or visit www.militarycrisisline.net for free confidential support, 24/7.
