FTS Redesignation Board

The Spring FY-19 FTS Transfer/Redesignation Board (#325) has adjourned and the results are posted to the right.  Selectees will receive an acceptance letter via email sent to the address used when submitting their application.  If a selectee does not receive a letter by 1600 (CST) on 9 April, please contact 901-874-4513 to verify the correct email address was used.
Acceptance letters must be returned to PERS-92 no later than 1600 (CST) on 19 April.  Failure to return the letter by the deadline will constitute declination of the opportunity.  No extensions will be granted.
Note:  Conversion to FTS is contingent upon meeting all eligibility criteria and processing requirements.
Once all acceptance letters are received, your FTS detailer will contact you (please allow up to four weeks).  They will work with you and your current detailer on the timing of your first FTS assignment.
Conversion process:
  - Active Component officers (i.e., current designator XXX0): Once you accept your selection, we will determine the best time for you to redesignate to FTS/Reserves based on needs of the Navy, your PRD, promotion selection status, etc.  You will be issued a new oath into the Navy Reserves within 3 - 12 months.  Of note, your designator change can occur before or after you have new orders to your first FTS position (the two processes are exclusive of each other).
  - Selective Reservists (i.e., current designator XXX5): You are already in the Reserves, so checking in to your new FTS duty station will change your designator to XXX7.  Your FTS detailer will contact you to discuss your individual timing.
