AvIP = Aviation Incentive Pay
(for aeronautically designated officers O1-O6)
HDIP-F = Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for Flying
(for non-aeronautically designated officers and officers O-7 and above)
Please expect an ADVANCE DEBT when moving on or off the due course pay scale. The ADVANCE DEBT is initially processed as a payment under the entitlements section of your LES, please coordinate repayment of this “extra” entitlement with PSD. The end result is a net zero financial impact. A similar transaction will occur when experiencing rate changes on the due course pay scale. Calculated rate adjustments will be annotated in the Flight Pay row on the LES of the sequent month.
