LITTORAL COMBAT SHIPS (LCS)

Are you a highly motivated Sailor looking for a unique and challenging opportunity?  Look no further than the Navy’s newest innovation in warfighting and force protection, the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).

LCS is a transformational ship that introduces a new concept of operation, deployment, and manning for a surface combatant. It is a focused-mission ship designed for speed and maneuverability in the littoral battlespace. LCS will provide a force commander the ability to focus on the following warfare areas: Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Mine Warfare (MCM), Surface Warfare (SUW).

The majority of LCS billets offer multiple NECs and vendor/factory training, with training pipelines varying from 3 to 24 months.  Currently, LCS Sailors have experienced above-fleet-average selection to CPO and commissioning programs.  If you are looking to advance your career, this is the path for you.
