Admin/Screen Board

Preparation for an administrative board or a screening board is different than a promotion board.

For most, but not neccesarily all, administrative boards you are eligible if you submitted an application or package to go before that board. The LDO/CWO Inservice Procurement is an example. Typically application packages must be prepared and submitted by a certain deadline in order to be considered.

Screening Boards usually occur at certain points automatically in an officer's career. Therefore an individual may be considered by a screening board without any input by the officer. Some screening boards may require an application in order to be considered. Check with your detailer to see if any information is required from you by that board. It varies from community to community.
