​Timothy D. Hardin
Command Master Chief Timothy D. Hardin enlisted in the U. S. Navy on May 04, 1993 and completed basic training at Recruit Training, San Diego, CA. He also attended Mess Specialist “A” School in San Diego, CA.
Master Chief Hardin reported to USS CANOPUS (AS-34). In 1995 his follow on assignment included the USS GETTYSBURG (CG-64) and later being advanced to Third Class. He made three 6 month deployments onboard USS GETTYSBURG (CG-64).  In 1998, Master Chief reported to Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL where he was advanced to Second Class. Master Chief Hardin’s next assignment in 2001 was Patrol Squadron SIXTEEN (VP-16); he was advanced to First Class in 2004. He made four 6 month deployments while stationed at VP 16. Master Chief Hardin next assignment in 2007 took him to Navy Recruiting School in Pensacola, FL and later to Navy Recruiting District Jacksonville as a Navy Recruiter in Charge where he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer in 2007. In 2010, he reported to USS DE WERT (FFG 45) for duty and advanced to Senior Chief. Master Chief Hardin then reported to RTC as a Recruit Division Commander in Great Lakes 2013 and shortly selected for the Command Senior Chief Program. In 2015, he transferred to USS SIOUX CITY (LCS 11) BLUE as the Command Senior Chief and later he was advanced to Command Master Chief. In June 2018, he transferred to Patrol Squadron EIGHT (VP-8) as the Command Master Chief.
Master Chief Hardin is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA), Class 152 (Khaki) and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course 10-130. His warfare qualifications include Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Surface Warfare Specialist and he is also a designated Master Training Specialist.
                Master Chief Petty Officer Hardin’s achievements and decorations include a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Trident University International, a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Illinois University and a Associate’s Degree from Florida Community College at Jacksonville; his awards are the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5 awards); Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (8 awards); Good Conduct Medal (8 awards); four Battle Efficiency Ribbons as well as other unit and campaign awards.
