Master Chief Reynolds is a native of Bethesda, Maryland. He was recruited out of Puerto Rico and attended Basic Training in Great Lakes, IL in February 1995.
Upon completion of Yeoman (YN) “A” School, he reported Security Detachment, Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico as an Administrative Assistant and Security Patrolman. In 1998, he reported to USS RAMAGE (DDG-61) homeported in Norfolk, VA where he served as Legal Clerk.
In 2001, he went on to serve on a joint staff duty at Iceland Defense Force where he was the Leading Petty Officer for the Admin Department. In 2004, he transferred to RTC Great Lakes where served as a Recruit Division Commander and Battle Stations Facilitator. From there he went on to serve at Navy Cargo Handling Battalion TWELVE in Bessemer, AL serving as the Headquarters LCPO. In 2009 he was transferred to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic, Detachment Rota, Spain where he was the Administrative Department LCPO.
In 2012 he was selected to the Command Senior Chief program and reported to MCM Crew EXULTANT where his crew served aboard the USS DEXTROUS (MCM-13), USS SCOUT (MCM-8), and USS PIONEER (MCM-9). He most recently served as Command Senior Chief of LCS Crew 109 which was the commissioning crew for the USS LITTLE ROCK (LCS-9).
CMDCM(SW/EXW/IW) Reynolds is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and Command Leadership School (CMC/COB). He has qualified as Enlisted Surface, Expeditionary, and Information Dominance Warfare Specialists and earned his Master Training Specialist certification. His decorations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
Master Chief Reynolds assumed his current duty as the Command Master Chief, Patrol Squadron TEN in June 2018.
