Wolf Pack

Welcome aboard to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Seven Five (HSM-75), the finest Aviation Squadron in the Navy, home of the World Famous "WOLF PACK".  We fly the MH-60R helicopter in a variety of missions including Undersea Warfare and Surface Warfare.  As the War on Terror continues, HSM-75 stands firm in our mission and our support in winning this noble cause.  Our highly trained team of Officers, Chief Petty Officers, Petty Officers, and Airmen are committed to defending our nation, our families, and our way of life.  We welcome you to the Wolf Pack family and are eager to assist you in joining the squadron!

HSM-75 is located at Naval Base Coronado, San Diego, CA.  From Interstate 5 (North or South) take the CA-75 exit towards Coronado, across the Coronado Bay Bridge.  Once across, pass through the old toll booth (no longer in service).  Stay on 3rd street, crossing Orange Ave, which will bring you to the air station's front gate.  Continue forward on Tow Way through two traffic lights until the road turns left across an airfield taxiway.  Continue straight, as the road comes to a "T", get in the left lane to drive into the parking lot in front of Bldg 1456.  We are located at the end of the building, next to HSM-71.

Your sponsor will be your personal liaison in the squadron, answering any questions you may have during your transition to the Wolf Pack.  Your sponsor has been assigned and his or her contact information is located in the welcome aboard message that was sent to your previous command.  In case you did not receive a copy of your welcome aboard message you can request a sponsor by clicking here.

Government Housing

All officers and enlisted personnel accompanied by their bona fide family members are eligible to apply for Military Family Housing (MFH).  To apply for quarters, you need a local housing application form or
DD Form 1746 (Application for Assignment to Housing), a copy of orders showing your detachment date and certification of family members. Application may be made in person or submitted by mail.
Those submitted by mail must be confirmed within 30 days of reporting to San Diego.

Your control date (effective date of application) determines your placement on the housing waiting list.  The control date will usually be the date of detachment from your last permanent duty station, if the application is received within 30 days of your arrival in San Diego.

Personnel who apply for MFH will receive a written acknowledgement indicating the approximate waiting period for quarters. The waiting times quoted are approximate times only and can fluctuate rapidly.

You (or a member of your immediate family) must confirm an advance quarters application within 30 days of reporting for duty of arrival in the San Diego area.  Failure to confirm will result in the cancellation of your application.

Inquiries into MFH should be directed to the Family Housing Office.

Civilian Housing

The Military Housing Office maintains a free listing service with over 5,000 rental and for-sale properties.  The service is available to all married and single personnel as well as DOD civilians.  Referral Specialists provide current information on typical rental costs, deposit fees, location, public transportation availability, crime rates, school statistics and other facts about civilian housing in San Diego.
A counselor can interview you to help you determine your personal and family needs regarding affordable housing in San Diego.
