HSCWSL  The HSCWSL insignia acknowledges naval legacy and embraces our dynamic future.

The Hawk is a symbol of strength and power as well as the namesake of the community’s helicopter, the H-60. The black background, moon and the hawk’s green eyes, emphasize our dedication to lead the expanding capabilities for training and operating in the night environment. The blue sea symbolizes our naval heritage, while the Helicopter is the symbol of the vehicle that enables our training. The crossed swords is a dual use symbol for the sensors and devices with which we train and the defense of the maritime environment.

Our motto, “Fortis in Armis” means “Strength through arms.”
