CMDCM(SW/AW/IW) CHARLIE S. PARKER
 
Command Master Chief Parker is from the Big Island of Hawaii. He enlisted in the Army in 1994 as an 11Bravo Infantryman where he completed multiple deployments in various parts of the United States and Southeast Asia. Upon completion of his enlistment in the Army, he separated honorably and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in July 1998 and reported to Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois, and completed PN “A” School at Naval Air Station Meridian, Mississippi. 
 
In 1998, he reported for duty onboard USS KITTY HAWK (CV-63) in Yokosuka, Japan. He deployed in 1999 to the Western Pacific in support of Coordinated Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT 99). He deployed to the Middle East during September 2001 to support joint special operations during the global war on terrorism. 
 
In 2002 he was selected for duty at United States Pacific Command Camp Smith, HI (USPACOM). Where he served in the J1 directorate as Joint Manpower Monitor, and Joint Element Command Personnel Representative.
 
In 2005 he was selected for duty Patrol Squadron Four Seven Kaneohe Marine Corps Base, HI. He served as the Personnel Officer and ESO. He deployed to Iraq in 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).
 
In 2009 he was selected for duty at Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) Pearl Hawaii. There he served as Receipts Leading Petty Officer, Customer Service Department Chief, and Senior Enlisted Advisor. In 2010 he was selected for Chief Petty Officer and volunteered and completed an Individual Augmentee tour for 12 months supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Kabul Afghanistan.
 
In 2012, he reported onboard USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where he served as the Personnel Officer and the Navigation and Executive Department Leading Chief Petty Officer. In 2014, he was advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer.
 
In 2016, he was selected for the Command Senior Chief Program, and in December 2016, he reported for duty as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Littoral Combat Ship Crew 206. In August 2017, he was advanced to Command Master Chief. He is a plank owner of USS Manchester LCS-14.
 
In December 2018, Command Master Chief assumed his duties onboard Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron FOUR NINE (HSM-49) San Diego, CA.
 
Command Master Chief Parker is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 200 Orange) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course (Class 161). His personal military awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 Awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal (2 Awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 Awards), Army Achievement Medal, and numerous Unit and Campaign awards.
