CMDCM DANIEL ARROYO
COMMAND MASTER CHIEF
Master Chief Arroyo, a native of Bronx, New York, enlisted in the Navy in April 1999. After Basic Training in Great Lakes, Illinois, he completed Aviation Machinist Mate (AD) “A” School in Pensacola, FL and was assigned to the “TOPHATTERS” of Fighter Squadron FOURTEEN (VF-14) at NAS Oceana, Virginia. Upon rating conversion approval, he attended Master-at-Arms “A” School in 2004. Subsequent Sea duty tours include the USS VICKSBURG (CG 69), Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Kings Bay, GA, and his current assignment as the Command Master Chief of Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE ONE (VFA 131), the “WILDCATS”.
Master Chief Arroyo’s sea tours have taken him on three deployments aboard USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65), USS NIMITZ (CVN 68), and USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71).
His Shore duty assignments include Security Department Naval Station Newport, RI, Recruit Division Commander and Recruit Division Commander “C” School Instructor, Great Lakes, IL.
Command Master Chief Arroyo is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 206 (Blue), and the Command Master Chief Course. His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various Unit Awards. He is also qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, and Master Training Specialist.
