CDR Marc E. Foreman,  USN


Commander Foreman, born in Chicago and raised in Riverside, California, graduated from University of California, Riverside in 2001 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. Upon graduation, he commissioned as an Ensign through Officer Candidate School Pensacola, Florida.

Commander Foreman’s initial fleet tour was with the Liberty Bells of VAW-115 in Atsugi, Japan. He deployed aboard USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63) and USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) in support of numerous international exercises spanning the Western Pacific. In 2008, he reported to Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) in Fallon, Nevada as a Weapons Tactics Instructor (WTI). 

Commander Foreman returned to the fleet in 2011 as the Training Officer of the Point Mugu, California based VAW-112 Golden Hawks. He deployed on board USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74) in support of OPERATION NEW DAWN and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
In 2014, he reported to the Screwtops of VAW-123 in Norfolk, Virginia as a Department Head. Commander Foreman then reported Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island as a student of the College of Naval Warfare graduating with a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies.
In 2017, Commander Foreman reported as Executive Officer of the Fleet Replacement Squadron VAW-120 Greyhawks in Norfolk, Virginia.
Commander Foreman’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (3) and Navy Achievement Medal (2) along with various campaign and unit awards.
