Distinguished Visitor Post Embark Website
Thank you for participating as a Distinguished Visitor. As a DV, you were afforded a very rare, first-hand look at life aboard an aircraft carrier at sea and were witness to the pride and professionalism displayed by the young men and women who serve our country. I am confident this was a memorable experience.
Ideally, every American citizen would have the opportunity to participate as a DV, to see their Navy in action; but that simply isn't possible. Instead, we ask guests like you, who are active leaders in their community and that have embarked aboard an aircraft carrier, to share your experience with others through your photos and - as any good mariner would have - sea stories.
I hope you will stay connected with what is happening in Naval Aviation by following our Naval Aviation Facebook page or U.S. Naval Aviation Twitter page. If you blog, tweet, or post information and photos of your experience to any social media site; I hope that you will share those links via e-mail.
I also ask that you share your experience with the Navy in a more formal manner, by completing an online survey, which is part of your online embarkation package. The online survey only takes a moment to complete. The survey provides the Navy with feedback to assess how we are doing and what we can do to make the carrier embark experience better.
To get to the survey, simply use the link provided to you in the email you received.
If you no longer have your post-embark e-mail, please contact me and I will send you another link to our survey.
Again, thank you for your interest in Naval Aviation and I hope that you will forever be supporters of the U.S. Navy and its Sailors and Officers.
