You will soon be joining an elite team of intelligence professionals who provide tactical indications and warning and force protection intelligence across the full spectrum of expeditionary operations – from blue to green water, the coastal littoral, and far inland – where traditional Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance assets are constrained.
All new NEIC personnel are encouraged to visit the Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, and Hampton Roads Fleet Family Service Center (FFSC) websites to help in the transition of moving yourself and your family to the Hampton Roads area. If an FFSC is not conveniently located near you, you can obtain information and relocation tools at Military One Source and Military HOMEFRONT.

If you are entitled to movement of dependents and household goods, the government will fund such movement to Norfolk, Virginia. Your current servicing Personnel Support Detachment can provide information on entitlement to Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE). Be reminded that if eligible, lodging receipts are required for TLE reimbursement.
Once your household goods have been packed out you can track your household goods shipment electronically if you used DefensePersonalPropertySystem or by contacting the Norfolk Personal Property Inbound Office at (757) 443-1372 or (DSN) 646-1372.

You will report to NEIC at 2025 Tartar Ave (Building 543), on board the Dam Neck Annex of NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach. You are encouraged to report Monday through Friday between the hours of 0900 and 1300 to ensure timely check-in with the local Customer Support Detachment (CSD). Regardless of when you plan to arrive, contact the NEIC CDO in advance at (757) 375-0913 or email@example.com, to obtain specific travel directions and coordinate your report date and time.
Your uniform when you are reporting is driven by area seasonal requirements (i.e. blues in the fall/winter; whites in the spring/summer); All personnel reporting to NEIC will submit a uniform issue request for Type IIIs. Uniform for reporting personnel will be Service Dress Uniform for E-6 and below and Service Working Uniform for E-7 and above. Working uniform thereafter will be Navy Working Uniform Type I or III. If you know the sizes that you require, you may submit your completed request in advance. Email the completed attachment to NEIC_DMNK_SUPPLY@navy.mil. Once your request is submitted, we will contact you with guidance for delivery.
