Fair Winds and Following Seas to the Boxer

San Diego (22 FEB 2011) - Detachment-two of TACRON-11 departed for WESTPAC 2011 at 1030 in the morning as families said their good buys, watching the ship prepare for to unmoor from Pier 13. The OIC commander Perkins is in charge of the operations that the Det.  aboard will carry out. Hawaii will be the first liberty port that USS Boxer (LHD 4)  will visit March 1, 2011 before heading west to relieve Kearsarge. TACRON-11 wishes Fair Winds and Following Seas for the Det. deployed and the Det.  training to deploy upon Boxers return.
