Thanksgiving meal

San Diego, CA (09/28/2010) - This year’s Thanksgiving Belly Stretcher at TACRON-11 was kicked off by Commander Burbridge, reminding us all that we are thankful for the Dets that are out and the Dets preparing for deployment. Also how thankful we should be for the families that are there to support our mission and our fellow shipmates that are always there when we need them. Many of the crew invited the junior sailors over for dinner family Thanksgiving and others stayed home with their family.

 

 

 

 

 

As far as stuffing ourselves until it hurt, we owe the Kaki’s thanks. From the deep fried turkeys made by the wardroom, to the excellent side dishes like: stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes, salad, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, and of course the pies. Several of the sailors went in for seconds and a few for thirds, but no one left hungry Wednesday. Officers cooking the turkey
