SAN DIEGO (Dec. 8, 2016) — Rear Adm. John Wade, commander Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, delivers the opening remarks to local San Diego media during the welcoming ceremony for USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) at Naval Base San Diego. Zumwalt is the Navy's most technologically advanced surface ship, and is home ported in San Diego.
