130124-N-IY633-436 SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 24, 2013) – Landing Craft Air Cushion 30, transporting Naval Beach Unit 7 personnel, approaches the well deck of the Navy’s only forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard. The Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group is on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and will take part in amphibious integration training, a certification exercise and will participate in the annual multi-national combined joint training exercise Cobra Gold.
