Senior Enlisted Leader
Master Chief Beville was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated high school from Redondo Union High school in Redondo Beach, California in 1986.
In January 1989 he enlisted in the Navy and attended recruit training at Recruit Training Center Great Lakes, Illinois. He then attended Mineman A school in Charleston, South Carolina. His first duty station was Mobile Mine Assembly Group Unit EIGHT in Agana, Guam.
While stationed at MOMAG Unit EIGHT, he applied for and was accepted into the EOD Assistant program. Following graduation of EOD Phase I training in 1992 he was assigned to his first EOD Mobile Unit. He went on to complete EOD Phase II training at Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal in Indian Head, Maryland in 1995.
Beville’s shore duty assignments include MOMAG Unit EIGHT in Agana, Guam, EOD Mobile Unit THREE Detachment POINT MUGU in Point Mugu, California, and Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal in Niceville, Florida.
Beville’s sea duty assignments include EOD Mobile Unit SIX in Charleston, South Carolina, EOD Mobile Unit THREE in San Diego, California, EOD Mobile Unit TWO in Little Creek, Virginia, Command Master Chief at EOD Mobile Unit ELEVEN in Whidbey Island, Washington, and Command Master Chief of EOD Group ONE in Coronado, California.
He is a graduate of Command Leadership School, the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy where he was selected for the Directors List for academic achievement. He has a Bachelors Degree with honors in Homeland Security from American Military University.
Master Chief Beville proudly wears multiple unit awards from sea and shore assignments.
Master Chief Beville currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, Detachment Point Loma.
