Senior Enlisted Advisor
Senior Chief Glass enlisted in the Navy on September 7, 1995 at Muncie, IN. He completed Basic Training in November 1995 and went on to attend Operations Specialist “A” school. In 1998, he completed Anti-Submarine Tactical Air Controller (ASTAC) at Fleet Anti-Surface Warfare Command San Diego, Ca. He graduated from the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, R.I., in 2009 and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course in 2010. He is currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree from Roger Williams University in Public Administration.

Senior Chief Glass served aboard USS Chosin (CG 65) and USS Ingraham (FFG 61) where he qualified as a Tactical Action Officer. In 2008, he deployed with Commander Destroyer Squadron Nine (CDS 9) where he served as a Staff Tactical Action Officer and Sea Combat Commander of Carrier Strike Group Nine. In 2011, he joined Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO as the Assistant Operations Officer and Administration Officer. He is currently serving on an Individual Augmentation as Command Senior Chief of Mine Countermeasure Crew Spartan embarked on USS CHAMPION (MCM 4).

Ashore, Senior Chief Glass served as an ASTAC Instructor at Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command, San Diego, Ca. Most recently, he served as the War Gaming Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and the Staff Command Senior Chief at the Naval War College, Newport, R.I.

In addition to his Enlisted Surface Warfare, Air Warfare and Expeditionary Warfare Pins, Senior Chief Glass wears the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (2 awards), Army Achievement Medal, Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation, Good Conduct Medal (4 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
