Mineman 3rd Class Joshua Pallent, from Mine Warfare Crew Persistent, embarked aboard the Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship USS Scout (MCM 8), lowers a mine neutralization vehicle into the central Arabian Gulf to search for a training mine shape.
