Lieutenant Commander DonAnn M. Gilmore is a 2001 graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice.

At sea, her first assignment was aboard USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44) where she served as 2nd Lieutenant and Main Propulsion Division Officer. Her next assignment was aboard USS NORMANDY (CG 60) where she served as Damage Control Assistant. She then served as Chief Engineer aboard USS GONZALEZ (DDG 66). Ashore, she served as Afloat Training Group Atlantic Gas Turbine Training Team Lead.

Lieutenant Commander Gilmore’s personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), and various service campaign and unit decorations.
