Lieutenant Commander DonAnn M. Gilmore hails from Anniston, AL and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.

At sea, Lieutenant Commander Gilmore’s Division Officer assignments included Norfolk-based USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44), and USS NORMANDY (CG 60) as Main Propulsion Division Officer, 2nd Lieutenant and Damage Control Assistant. She then served as Chief Engineer aboard USS GONZALEZ (DDG 66) in Norfolk, VA. Ashore she served as Afloat Training Group Atlantic Gas Turbine Training Team Lead and is currently the Commanding Officer of MCM Crew EXULTANT.

Lieutenant Commander Gilmore's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), and various unit and service ribbons.
