|LCDR Catherine A. B. Reppert
A native of Westport, Massachusetts, LCDR Catherine Reppert graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in History graduating with Honors. During her senior year she also earned a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
LCDR Reppert’s first sea assignment was aboard USS LASSSEN (DDG 82) where she served as the Gunnery Officer and Auxiliaries Officer as part of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF) based in Yokosuka, Japan. In May 2009, she reported to USS CARTER HALL (LSD 50) to serve as the ship’s Navigator and Administrative Officer. Upon completion of Department Head School, LCDR Reppert served as the Operations Officer in USS TRUXTUN (DDG 103).
Her shore tours include serving as a team leader for Maritime Civil Affairs Team (MCAT) 202 and Civil Military Operations Planner in support of Naval Forces Africa in Naples, Italy and Surface Warfare Officers School, Newport, RI in the Command-At-Sea Directorate.
LCDR Reppert’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with three Gold Stars), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and multiple unit and service awards.
