Executive Officer

Lieutenant Commander Brett Jasionowski received his commission after graduating from George Washington University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs.

LCDR Jasionowski's afloat assignments include Auxiliaries and Electrical officer onboard USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55) based out of Norfolk, Virginia; Training Officer onboard USS SHILOH (CG 67) based out of Yokosuka, Japan; Engineer Officer onboard USS HOPPER (DDG 70) based out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and presently, Executive Officer, USS PIONEER (MCM 9).

Ashore, Jasionowski served as flag aide and action officer on the CNO's staff, Irregular Warfare Office and future concepts branch within OPNAV N51. During his tenure he completed an 11 month Individual Augmentation assignment in Afghanistan conducting field training audits for the ISAF Joint Command's partnership Teams.

Jasionowski's awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various other unit citations and campaign awards.
