CMDCM(SW) Kaszubowski enlisted in the United States Navy in Chicago, Illinois in June 1995. He completed Basic Recruit Training in Great Lakes Illinois and Damage Controllman “A” School in Treasure Island San Francisco. CMDCM(SW) Kaszubowski’s sea tours include USS O’BRIEN (DD- 975) from January 1996 to March 1998 on which he completed two deployments to the Arabian Gulf, earning the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) pin, USS CUSHING (DD- 985) from March 1998 to DEC 2001 where he completed one deployment to the Arabian Gulf, ATGMIDPAC from February 2002 to DEC 2004 on which he advanced to Chief Petty Officer, USS GARY (FFG 50) from March 2005 to June 2007, as Engineering Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and Repair Division Leading Chief Petty Officer. In June of 2007 he conducted a hull swap with the USS MCCAMPBELL (DDG-85). He served on the USS MCCAMPBELL (DDG-85) from June 2007 to March 2008 as Repair Division Leading Chief Petty Officer. His first shore tour was as a High Risk Fire Fighting instructor at Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific from February 2002 to December 2004. During his tour he instructed basic firefighting, advanced firefighting, damage control team training, P-100, Repair Party Leader course and qualified as Field Safety Chief and Training Safety Officer. CMDCM Kaszubowski is a graduate the Command Master Chief course class 76 and a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy class 154. He holds an Associates Degree from Central Texas College and is a Master Training Specialist and Afloat Training Specialist. CMDCM Kaszubowski’s personal decorations include the Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (three awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
