USS Champion Participates in Los Angeles Navy Week 2011

LOS ANGELES (July 25, 2011) Line handlers prepare to moor the mine countermeasures ship USS Champion (MCM 4) in the Los Angeles Harbor. Champion is participating in Los Angeles Navy Week 2011, one of 21 Navy Weeks being held this year across the country. Navy Weeks are intended to showcase the investment Americans have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
