ARABIAN GULF - A CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter assigned to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 15 flies above the mine countermeasures ship USS Ardent (MCM 12) during Arabian Gauntlet 2011. Arabian Gauntlet is a multinational exercise designed to refine coalition warfare capabilities in mine warfare and surface warfare, and offshore infrastructure protection to enhance regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
