|LCDR Christopher Causee
Lieutenant Commander Christopher Causee is a native of San Diego, Ca. He received his commission from NROTC San Diego and graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in May 2003.
LCDR Causee was assigned to USS ESSEX (LHD 2) serving as Radar Repair and First Division officer. In July 2005 he completed the Aegis Training pipeline in Dahlgren, VA and reported aboard USS CAPE ST. GEORGE (CG 71), as Training Officer. Following his first two Division Officer tours he attended the Naval Postgraduate School, earning a Master’s of Science in System Engineering Analysis and completing his Joint Professional Military Education Phase 1. After graduation he transferred to the United States Naval Academy where he served as an instructor in the Seamanship and Navigation department.
In February 2011, he graduated the Department Head course at SWOS and reported aboard USS RUSHMORE (LSD 47), to assume duties as the First Lieutenant. He joined Crew DOMINANT in July 2013 as Executive Officer after completing the PCO/PXO training pipeline.
LCDR Causee’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (2), Navy Achievement Medal (2), plus various unit and campaign awards.
