Senior Enlisted Leader
Senior Chief Damiean Williams is a native of Miami, FL, graduated from Bishop George Ahr High School in NJ in 1997 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy Delayed Entry Program in 1998.
He graduated from boot camp at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL and Operation Specialist ‘A’ School in Damneck, VA.
He reported to his first duty station in November 1998, USS DUBUQUE (LPD-8) in Sasebo, Japan where he deployed to the Persian Gulf. Other sea duties included the USS JUNEAU (LPD-10) in Sasebo, Japan, where he qualified for the Enlisted Surface Warfare, the USS REUBEN JAMES (FFG-57) in Pearly Harbor, HI, in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and was promoted to a First Class Petty Officer. He served onboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) in Yokosuka, Japan in support of Operation Tomodachi and served as the Operation Department LCPO and OI Division LCPO.
His shore duties assignments included Afloat Training Group Western Pacific in Yokosuka, Japan where he served as a Combat Systems Team Leader and was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and Joint Region Marianas in Guam, where he served as the J3 Marianas Island Range Complex Operations LCPO and was promoted to Senior Chief Petty Officer.
In 2015, Senior Chief Williams was selected for the Command Senior Chief Program and is currently serving onboard USS WARRIOR (MCM-10).
He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 182, Khaki) and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 145). He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Studies from Chaminade University in Hawaii.
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards), and numerous unit and campaign awards.
